While you obviously shouldn’t wash your va.gina (and yes even inserting water up there is a very bad idea) , you really should wash your vulva (the whole external area) with a small amount of a very mild and gentle, fragrance-free soap. The va.ginal canal is self-cleansing but the outside part is not. Just saying…
