The popular Cameroonian defender who collapsed on October 3 was said to have been recuperating, but reports from the Cameroonian authorities confirmed his death on October 7.
According to Wikipedia ‘On 3 October 2016 Song suffered a cerebral attack and was hospitalised in Cameroon. He was in a coma for two days after having had a stroke with doctors planning transferring him to a French hospital for further treatment. His death was reported on 7 October 2016.
