There’s a lot of banter around the largest black country undergoing a recession.
Tales of hardship surround the lips of almost every Nigerian citizen who lives on less than $2 per day (that’s roughly 850 Naira). On the average, that’s enough for a single person to survive on but what if he’s got a family; a wife and 4 kids?
Then there’s the issue of the ‘Blame Game’ where no one wants to take full responsibilities for what’s happening now but rather, look for someone to point fingers at. While some of us are yet to feel the pinch, others wonder when we’d get to the promised land.
In that regard, here’s an account of a Nigerian who wants to make common sense.
Hello,
My name is Adaeze OgbuenyiThese are farm produce wasting in my hometown , Aballa Uno in Ndokwa East LGA of Delta state. Thousands of people are going hungry in Nigeria but this produce can’t get to them due to bad roads.
This town is a major producer of Cassava, Yams, Plantain, Fish etc.. I want to use this medium to appeal to the NDDC, Delta State Government, and the Federal Government as well to come to our rescue. The contract for this road has been awarded to Interbau company years back but nothing has been done.
Please, everyone, help me share this post till its gets to those in authority.
Thanks.
He had supporting pictures to back up his plea.
1. Who’s responsible for this?
